Many protagonists of two-wheel racing showed up at the biggest motorcycle rally in the Country, which saw more tan 27 thousand attendants.
Together with Alex Criville, who was awarded with the ‘Legend’ Golden Penguin and Maverick Vinales, Golden Penguin for 2014, Carlos Checa got the same prize for his sporting career. Checa, who is so far the only Spanish rider able to become Superbike World Champion, is not new to a warm welcome in the event, as in 1999 he was awarded with a Golden Penguin for his stellar 1998 MotoGP season.
